BlueOnyx Control Panel


Hostirian is now offering BlueOnyx - a FREE control panel for its VPS Packages. Blue Onyx is a web-based graphic user interface (GUI) which allows you to manage most aspects of your VPS package through a browser based interface. It is a Linux distribution (based on CentOS v5.6) and is open source software, released under a Sun modified BSD license. For clients that select BlueOnyx, Hostirian supports ONLY the operating system and NOT the control panel.

BlueOnyx includes - support for Java Servlet Pages, built-in web-based email and phpMyAdmin.

BlueOnyx also includes - brute force login detection and prevention mechanisms, subdomain management, a GUI to automatically create and remove MySQL users and databases, PHP security management, working vacation messages, built-in JSP support, YUM update support and its FREE OF CHARGE.

BlueOnyx comes pre-installed - with PHP5 and MySQL5. It also has a GUI to modify SSH settings (root access, port and protocols).
